Going to the Gym

We have been going to the Boys and Girls gymnastics stadium.
It is fun to learn how to roll the right way.

We have practised balancing in lots of ways on the high and low beams.
Stepping over cones and skipping on the beam takes practice.
Handstands are challenging.

We use the wall to support ourselves.

We like hanging from the bar and counting to ten.

Rolling into the pit is exciting.

We get the giggles before we land plonk in the pit of sponge.

Getting out of the pit can be a challenge. We use lots of muscles.

The easiest way is to climb up the mattress.

Daffodils

We made these daffodils out of paper for the first day of spring.

We enjoyed making the zig zag folding for the trumpet and the petals formed a star pattern.

It was also daffodil day in New Zealand so we bought a gold coin to school to raise money for people who have cancer.
We also wrote daffodil stories and looked at the flowers growing outside our room in the gardens.
