Skipping Fitness
We have been having fun learning to skip.
It was hard at first so we had to practise a lot.
We started to challenge one another by skipping in many ways.
We learned how to work as a team and skipp in a group.
it is hard to keep skipping without stopping.
Owls around our classroom
We have a theme in our room - Owls.
They are wise and like to reach high places to find out things.
We drew these owls on black paper then coloured them brightly with pastel.
We put goggly eyes on them to make the owls look down on us from the high trees in our room.
Some of us put patterns on their feathers.

Winning the Fundraising Competition
Our class won the fundraising competition and we were given a party morning tea.
We got to eat yummy food.
Thank you CIA (Carlton in Action) for such a magnificent morning tea. We will not forget it. All the things we love.

Pyjama Day
We had fun coming to school in our Pyjamas.
There were lots of different coloured Pyjamas and styles which made us laugh.
Some of us decided it was more comfortable to wear our uniform. That was OK too.

Cultural Day
We celebrated the children in our class who come from another country. We have children from Cambodia, Canada, Fiji, China and Iceland.
The children wore some special clothes from their country. Kristinn brought a flag from Iceland to hold.
